Since joining Ward-Young in 1984, Robert’s primary responsibilities have included project management, quality control of construction documents, and staff supervision. Robert has been involved in numerous public agency projects, such as the Truckee Tahoe Airport District’s New Administration Building, the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center at Lassen Volcanic National Park, a LEED Platinum project and numerous projects for the Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District. In addition to his public agency projects, Robert has also been involved in numerous commercial projects, such as the Mt. Judah Lodge at Sugar Bowl, The Mountain Club at Kirkwood, and the Resort at Squaw Creek. He is currently the Project Architect for the Sugar Bowl Academy Campus.

Robert is talented in coordinating a multi-disciplined team of consultants for complex projects. Additionally, he is very knowledgeable in building and life safety codes and the interpretation and applicability of the codes in building design.
